Mirsad Hadžikarić
Mirsad Hadžikarić (Sarajevo) is an independent thinker, essayist, chess player, and cultural practitioner whose work develops at the intersection of philosophy, art, literature, and social reflection. Over the course of his long-standing activity, he has cultivated a distinctive intellectual and creative approach based on exploring the limits of possibility, freedom of thought, and the creative act.
At the center of his interests lies the concept of the “impossible” as a space of human imagination, spiritual freedom, and continuous questioning of reality. Through his writings, public appearances, and cultural initiatives, he fosters a dialogue between art, philosophy, and everyday experience, examining the relationships between the individual, society, and the time in which we live.
Hadžikarić belongs to a generation of Sarajevo intellectuals whose work has been shaped by the experience of an open city, its multicultural tradition, and its legacy of critical thought. His practice represents a synthesis of lived experience, humanistic inquiry, and a lasting commitment to culture as a space of freedom, encounter, and the creation of new possibilities.
